Our Story
A modern day love story- Kara and Sam met through Bumble in the summer of 2020. It was on their second date that Kara shared her idea of returning to grad school and Sam mentioned that he had just put an offer in on a home and needed some help sprucing it up. Kara (mostly just being kind) offered to lend Sam a hand with the painting. Little did she realize that it would turn into a three day marathon of painting and ripping out carpets with a guy she barely knew. Flash forward a year and a half later, Kara and Sam completed a successful home flip and realized through the process that they were the perfect compliment to each other's strengths.
Kara and Sam have continued to grow in love and support for one another through flipping/selling multiple homes, adopting their precious puppy Riley, Sam starting up a 90s rock band, and Kara graduating grad school & starting a new career. Sam proposed to Kara on Camelback Mountain overlooking downtown Phoenix in December 2022, one of their favorite spots! The two are overjoyed to move into the next phase of their lives together as a married couple and cannot wait to see what is on the journey ahead.
